Application for Admission to Traditional 4 year BSN program ()

We are currently not accepting applications at this time.
The application process can be completed on line during
the following time frames:


  • Spring Admission Applications: May 1 - July 1
  • Fall Admission Applications: Dec 1 - Feb 1
 

Welcome to the UND Undergraduate Nursing Online Application System. This Online Application system is to help future students apply for admission to the College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines. Future Students who DO NOT have a RN license should use this system. If you have a RN license and wish to apply, click here.

 

Before starting your application you will need the following:
  • Admission to UND - By Jan 20 for Feb 1 Nursing application deadline or June 20 for July 1 Nursing application deadline.
  • Official transcripts sent / requested to UND undergraduate admissions office for ALL previous coursework outside of UND.
  • Have the following courses completed with a grade of "C" or better:
    • English 110 - English Composition I
    • English 130 - English Composition II
    • Psyc 111 - Introduction to Psychology
    • Psyc 250 or 270 - Developmental or Abnormal Psychology
    • Sociology 110 or 115 or Anthropology 171 - Introduction to Sociology or Social
      Problems or Cultural Anthropology
    • Math 103 - College Algebra
    • Chemistry 115/L or 121/L - Introductory or General Chemistry and Lab
    • Chemistry 116/L - Introduction to Organic and Biochemistry and Lab
    • Anatomy 204/L - Human Anatomy and Lab
    • PPT 301 - Human Physiology
    • Mbio 202/L = Microbiology and Lab
    • N&D 240 - Fundamentals of Nutrition
  • Overall GPA (including transfer work) and UND GPA of 2.75 or higher
  • A minimum score of "Proficient" on Assessment Technologies Institute (ATI) Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS).
  • A valid UND student ID number is required.
  • You will need access to your academic record in order to complete this application.
  • You will need to start a new application even if you have applied in the past year.

     The procedure for application to the UND Nursing Program is based upon policies established by the College and in accordance with University regulations.      An application will be considered qualified only if all the minimum requirements have been met. Submission of the application does not guarantee admission to the Nursing Program. The best qualified applicants who meet all requirements are selected based on the core course GPA, TEAS score. Application to the UND Nursing Program does NOT constitute application to the University of North Dakota . If not already admitted to the University, the student must seek admission by the posted deadlines through the University's Undergraduate Admissions Office, PO Box 8357, phone (701) 777-3821.
