The Altru Health System Shadowing Program allows students and adults the opportunity to observe actual work in a health care career of their choice.

Each Shadowing experience is two hours in length. The shadow will be assigned to a staff member in the career field of their choice and will learn about educational requirements, career advancement, and daily duties within the job.

Eligibility: Students in grades 11-12 can participate. The program is available to college students and individuals who are interested in the health care field or are considering a career change. High school students must work through their school guidance counselor or principal, to coordinate an appointment by contacting the Shadowing Program Coordinator, (701) 780-5834.
