Department of Nursing
Welcome to the Department of Nursing at the University of North Dakota! We have been educating Nurses for over 100 years and continue to produce some of the finest graduates in the nation. We offer several different programs and degrees. Whether you are beginning your nursing career or seeking more education in the nursing profession, we have multiple options for you to consider.
Our undergraduate program offers four different pathways for prospective students to receive a nursing degree: Traditional Track, Accelerated or BAC- 2 Track, LPN to BSN track, and RN to BSN Track. Our graduate program offers a variety of specialized educations for prospective students. Applicants may obtain master's degrees in Adult-Gerontological, Advanced Public Health nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Anesthesia, Nurse Educator, and Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. The graduate program also offers a PhD in Nursing, and will begin offering a Doctor of Nursing Practice in the Fall of 2013. For more information, visit the Department of Nursing Graduate Page. [BD2]
The College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines has its own internal Office of Student Services (OSS). The staff and faculty within OSS are available to address application questions and program requirements for all undergraduate and graduate areas of study.
