All must be received at the UND Graduate School by January 15 of the year the student wishes to be admitted. Applicants are responsible for the completeness and timely delivery of the application to the UND Graduate School. Late applications will not be considered until the following year. If January 15 falls on a Saturday or Sunday you must ensure delivery of the application no later than the Friday before.
Interviews with the admissions committee are usually held in February. Applicants must make themselves available for either a phone or personal interview. Interview times will be severely limited, so applicants should make whatever arrangements are needed to meet the first time slot offered. The interview is a very substantial portion of the application process, so applicants should plan to be at their best. Applicants who interview will receive written notification of their status early in March of the application year. You need not call to inquire about your status. Once you are accepted, you may begin making any necessary financial aid arrangements. The University of North Dakota Graduate School may be contacted at (701) 777-2987 or email your questions to gradschool@und.edu.
