Admission Criteria/Application
 

Admission to the specialization requires the following:

A baccalaureate degree in nursing from an NLN or CCNE accredited nursing program. Graduates from non-accredited or foreign schools are evaluated individually. Entry to this specialization is also available through the RN to MS track - see website: http://www.nursing.und.edu/grad/RNtoMS.cfm
Undergraduate or graduate statistics course;
Minimum GPA of at least 3.00 for the last two years of undergraduate study
Current RN licensure
Successful interview
One year of experience as a registered nurse (preferred)

 
Students may be admitted under General Nursing status prior to formal admission to any graduate nursing specialization. Subject to the approval of the College of Nursing and Dean of the Graduate School, a maximum of 24 semester credits of designated courses may be taken under this option and subsequently may become part of the student's program of study.
