Welcome to the University of North Dakota Nurse Education Website. Thank you for taking the time to explore our educational offerings.
This online Master's Nurse Education track is designed to prepare nurses to work as nurse educators in a variety of settings.
This program features quality online education that is highly interactive, flexible, and convenient for working nurses. It is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). This 37 credit program is designed for part-time or full-time attendance by working professionals.
Nurse Educators are in high demand. Critical nursing faculty shortages exist. In addition, the need for prepared nurse educators in practice settings is becoming urgent to meet the vision of the Institute of Medicine (IOM) for a Learning Health Care System to improve the nation's health (IOM, 2011). By becoming a nurse educator you can provide a much needed set of unique skills to educational and/or healthcare settings.
