Welcome to the College of Nursing Office of Research. With a mission to serve the people of the state, region and nation, researchers at the College of Nursing focus on vulnerable and diverse populations. Research and scholarly activities address health issues of primary concern to rural populations, with impact across the nation and the world.  Nursing faculty are actively involved in research with interdisciplinary and nursing practice colleagues. Funding for nurse researchers includes internal sources from the College of Nursing and University of North Dakota as well as external support from foundations and federal sources. 

The Office of Nursing Research provides pre-award and post-award support for investigators including guidance in the procedures for grant preparation and submission and grants management.  Scholarly development activities sponsored by the Office of Nursing Research include seminars by local and national nursing and multidisciplinary researchers and leaders, peer review of scholarly products including grant proposals and manuscripts and publicity of presentation and funding opportunities.
